As pioneers in the thermal industry, TRI principals were were privileged, in 1991, to
obtain the "first" air permits issued for a low temperature thermal desorption (LTTD) system
in four states.
In 1994 they set another precedent in Illinois by re-engineering a LTTD system to be an
indirect fired unit, and remediating hazardous waste on site without requiring a RCRA permit.
Over the last decade, TRI has revised its focus and capabilities to include many innovative
techniques of in-situ and ex-situ soil remediation as well as the addition of our
construction services division. One particular ex-situ technology is our Indirect Heat
Volatilization Steam Injection Steam (IHV System) used in the remediation of hazardous
contaminated soils.
Today, TRI is a full service environmental remediation and earthwork contractor. In our years
of experience, TRI has excavated, treated and transported millions of yards of soils and geologic
materials. Our heavy equipment operators have years of experience using state of the art
techniques to safely and efficiently fulfill the needs of your earthwork project. Demolition,
site development, grading and site restoration are all part of TRI’s expertise as a full service
environmental and earthwork contractor.
